The Myagi Stadium is a sports stadium, beyond the football field covers an athletics track and in the north is positioned a giant screen.
The model structure is based on the geometry of concentric circles specially designed to focus the attention of viewers in its center. This character makes the geometric configuration of the stadium rather stable creating a strong closing between inside and outside.
In order to lose this structural rigidity of the Miyagi Stadium, designed by Atelier Hitoshi Abe with Syouichi Haryu Architect, tends to combine two different types: that of the stadium and one in the park. These two programs twisted and fused together create a structure flexible, designed for multiple uses and the changing facets.
