The museum is known for its harmony of nature and culture that exposes. The Museum Karuizawa celebrates the confluence of nature, art and architecture. The project has also collaborated another famous architect Ryue Nishizawa that the design has embraced the natural contours of the landscape of Karuizawa so that the floor can follow the natural slope of the site. He has created a space where visitors could get the feeling of becoming one with the works of Hiroshi Senju and a forest in Karuizawa. The museum holds 150 varieties of plants, pink, yellow, purple, silver and red, shrubs and grasses. In Karuizawa, with its pure air, breeze and soft light, visitors can experience a place of extraordinary imagination and beauty.
